We are forever amazed by the sheer variety of things that can be made at home with a little effort and application. Quilts and More is full of fun projects that pretty much anyone who can gets their hands on the required materials can have a go at making, catering for all abilities from very beginner through to experienced quilteer (we think that’s a more noble and dashing word for someone who quilts).

Not only are the designs perfect for any level of experience, they also look rather fantastic. At least they do in the lovely photographs to be found in Quilts and More, and no doubt will look great when you, dear reader, attempt them. If we were to try however, ooh, we would probably find some way to mess things up, regardless of how excellent the written instructions are and how well explained the step-by-step processes are. We have a talent for sewing ourselves to our projects, accidentally gluing things to things that did not want to have things glued to them and once, on a particularly ambitious project, welding ourselves to the floor. Don’t ask.

Regardless of our incompetence, you can be safe in the knowledge that you’ll find an array of inspirational ideas and practical projects in Quilts and More. NB
