There will also be interesting book reviews as well as news about up-coming exhibitions.

Photoworks magazine is packed full of interesting images and detailed introductions and analysis of the work to give readers an insight into where they were taken and what drove the photographer to take the images. The photographs are always interesting and unique and sometimes controversial. You don’t get to the dizzy heights of a well renowned photographer without ruffling a few feathers that’s for sure.

We particularly liked one particular photographer called Stuart Griffiths who depicted the time he spent with the Paras in Northern Ireland. The images are at times shocking and at other times deeply moving, he manages to capture the extraordinary harsh reality of the situations they faced in a very up-close and personal way.
