It is a lifestyle and fashion publication which is ideal for the independent women out there who want a unique magazine with interesting thought provoking articles as well as all the usual features which women love in other lifestyle magazines. There will be celebrity interviews, real life stories and features on arts and crafts.

Bust magazine is produced in America and aims to bring that little something different to the women’s lifestyle magazine market. There will often be themed issues released with these publications, such as issues focussed on food, fashion and seasonal topics. Many of the articles are very interesting and pose fascinating questions to the reader about American society and the role that Women are playing in it. For example there will be features concerned with how the restaurant chain Hooters in America is projecting women onto their customers. If you didn’t know about Hooters already if you are outside the USA, they basically use scantly clad young women to waitress in their restaurants. The uniform doesn’t leave much to the imagination; let’s just leave it at that! Essentially the ‘Hooters girl’ is employed as a ‘sexual entertainer’ and should expect various sexual jokes. As you can imagine debates on these types of establishments are always on-going. It all does seem like madness to us Brits!

The magazine is entirely devoted to women’s rights and issues as well as celebrating talented and hard working women. The celebrities featured in the magazine will be both beautiful and inspirational; actress Liv Tyler has featured as well as famous sporting women who are the best in their field. There are also brilliant fashion pages will showcase the best relaxed styles around which are both pretty and comfortable. There are also interesting cultural pages which discuss controversial new female artists. Artists such as Lee Price will feature; she did a series of paintings depicting the often troubled relationship that women have with food and drink. Bust will produce really fascinating articles that will interest intelligent forward thinking women everywhere.
